After being left with a little daughter by her husband, Kylie is forced to strip to earn enough to keep them both. A chance meeting with Evan, a handsome stranger in the club, turns into much more as she gets to know Evan.
The problem is, Brad – her husband – is back in the picture and trying to be a part of Kylie’s life again and her relationship with Evan is anything but easy.
Kylie is the main character in the book. She’s a good main character, forced to do things she never thought she would do to survive and take care of her daughter. I did like Kylie but I think I would have liked her more if she didn’t cry so much. I’m not saying she isn’t strong – she is – but she had some difficulties in finding her strength sometimes.
Evan is a good character as well. He’s determined and can be quite sweet. He would be absolutely amazing if he wasn’t so controlling sometimes.
Plot wise, there are a lot of little twists and turns in the story. Kylie’s life is definitely not easy and she has a lot to deal with. I just wanted her and Evan to find a way to fix the problems surrounding them and get together!
All in all, Stripped is an interesting story. It is fast-paced and well-written and I kept wanting to find out what would happen to the characters.
If you like romance with some angst, you might enjoy this book.
