Review:
I have received this book as part of a blog tour in exchange of an honest review.
I’m not exactly a fan of vampires but, every now and then, I enjoy reading a book about them if it’s well-written. Bloodgifted is indeed well-written and very interesting.
I liked the characters in this book and thought the plot of the book was well-developed and entertaining.
Bloodgifted has a little something for everyone: romance, drama, action and much more. The author did a wonderful job with this story that kept me entertained an interested.
If you like stories involving vampires, I think you might enjoy this book.

Summary:

it's almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.
She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.
Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.
In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

Review:
First of all, I love the covers for this series. They are extremely pretty.
Unravel Me picks up where Shatter Me ended and it seems like Juliette is free from the Reestablishment and Warner. Not everything is what it seems, though.
I like the characters in this series and believe the books are all about them, their growth, relationships and the different sides of their personalities.
Juliette is still dealing with a lot of insecurities in Unravel Me. She often doesn’t know what to make of her feelings but I think that’s understandable considering her past and the situations she finds herself in. She slowly grows stronger, though, and I can’t wait to see how much she will still grow in the next book.
I still like Adam in this book and think he’s great guy but, while I was Team Adam in the beginning, this book has definitely made me Team Warner.
Warner is so complex and complicated I can’t help but love him despite everything he seems to have done and who he thinks he is. I think he’s probably the best character in the books. There are several different sides to him and all are very interesting. His love for Juliette is intense and he doesn’t try to hide it. He has had a complicated upbringing but he’s still capable of love, and isn’t that great? Of course he’s also capable of being cruel but I’m sure there’s much more to him.
I loved the moments spent between Juliette and Warner and their conversations. We find out a lot about both of them thanks to those conversations!
Kenji is also a great character. He’s the comic relief of the series but there’s much more to him than just that. He’s a great friend, a good leader and a essential part of the Omega Point movement.
Plotwise, the war between the Reestablishment and the resistance is about to start and as Juliette tries to remain hidden, Warner is still looking for her. The plot is interesting but I can’t help but to feel like this whole series is more about the characters than the plot itself.
All in all, I quite enjoyed Unravel Me. I like the author’s writing style and, most of all, I like the characters, who are able to keep interested and wondering what will happen to them.
I’m reading Ignite Me right now and enjoying it a lot. So far this has proven to be a wonderful series.

About the Author:
My name is Tima Maria Lacoba and this is my first novel.
For the last seventeen years I’ve taught English and History in a high school in southern Sydney. Before taking up teaching I was a practicing archaeologist, working on several digs around the world. Unfortunately, steady contracts in this field were hard to obtain, hence my gravitation to teaching. It was fantastic being able to teach my field to Year Eleven and Twelve students and then take them on overseas excursions to visit the amazing sites they’ve only seen in books.
Two years ago I resigned and surrendered to the itch of writing. After a many years of reading and correcting my students’ creative writing tasks and essays, I decided it was time to write my own. I couldn’t hold it in any longer.
