War has come to Earth. And no matter the outcome, the future will never be the same for those left standing.

Review:
As some of you might know, I'm a big Jennifer L. Armentrout fan and her books. It took me a little while to start Opposition (maybe because I didn't want the series to end) but once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down.
Opposition starts shortly after the last book ended and things are not looking good for humans or Katy who doesn't know exactly what happened to Daemon after all the other luxen came to earth. Can Daemon really have decided to join the luxen and leave Katy behind?
All our favorite characters are back in this book and, as always, they are kickass and very well-written.
I always liked Katy and thought she was a very good main character. She's smart, tough and not afraid to stand up for herself. Plus, I always liked the fact she often has a comeback ready for Deamon.
Daemon is, of course, my favorite character. He's cocky, witty and all around amazing. He's also very protective of the ones he loves, which becomes very clear in this book. He really is a great character.
I also like Dawson and Beth and I was happy with the ending they got. The same goes for Dee and Archer.
Plus, I enjoyed Hunter's appearance in this book.
Plotwise, the story revolves around the arrival of millions of luxen in earth and their plans to take over. As with the other books in the series, the plot is very interesting and the story develops at a nice pace. The book is very well-written and I couldn't put it down until I knew how Katy and Daemon's story was going to end.
I have to confess I'm sad this series is over, though. I mean, I could always use a little bit more of Daemon!
All in all, the whole Lux series is a great series which I really enjoyed. The plot is original and the character interesting and well-developed.
If you haven't started reading this series yet, what are you waiting for? Daemon will win you over.

This top Tuesday is a freebie so I decided to list some of my favorite book series!

Top Ten Favorite Book Series

It was really difficult for me to choose only 10 series to put on this list when there are so many series I loved out there! I chose these 10, but I could easily add at least another 10 to this list!

1 Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. I'm sure this one is many people's favorites and is no wonder why. Magic, mystery, friendship, good characters and an interesting plot transformed this series in one of my favorites.

2 Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien. I love the world and characters created by J.R.R. Tolkien. I mean, how imaginative was he?

3 Hercule Poirot series by Agatha Christie. I'm not completely sure this is considered a series but I think it is and is definitely one of my favorites. I love the little Monsieur Poirot and his peculiar gray cells!

4 A Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin. Sometimes I think the fact I'm a Lord of the Rings fan makes me like this series so much because the whole feel of both series is very similar. Either way, this series has become one of my favorites due to all the mystery and intrigue.

5 Sherlock Holmes series by Arthur Conan Doyle. Yes, I cannot deny I'm a fan of mystery! Sherlock Holmes had to be on this list because all of the books are extremely well-written and entertaining. Plus, all the characters are extremely well-developed.

6 The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater. The way the books in this series are written make me enjoy it so much. Plus, the story is really different and well-thought-out.

7 Lucky Harbor series by Jill Shalvis. I fell in love with the first book in the series when it was first published and have, since then, enjoyed every new book Jill Shalvis writes.

8 Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. A series about aliens with kickass and witty characters. It's no wonder it became one of my favorites.

9 Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand. This might be my favorite series about angels. Yes, I do like Hush Hush as well but this one was able to me entertained and interested rigth from the start.

10 The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. I know this is controversial, but I really did enjoy this series (more than Mortal Instruments).

I know it's difficult to choose only 10 series but which ones are your favorites?
