Day for all the singles
I look forward to Valentine's Day every year. Mostly because of all the chocolate in heart-shaped boxes and cute love-themed trinkets. I've always loved all the little gifties I've received this time of year, from my boyfriends at the time, and from myself (because who can resist 50% off sales as you're browsing through a store the on February 15th--seriously, I would like to know anyone who can resist).
Valentine's Day may be more enjoyable when you have someone to spend it with, but not all of us have that when it rolls around. It could be a cause for frustration or upset, both of which I can vouch for going through myself. While seeing all the happy couples in love walking around hand in hand may stir up a little bit of jealousy and bitterness, something you should always remember is that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Even if you may not have someone to spend Valentine's Day with this year, it doesn't mean that love isn't around the corner. It may not be today, or tomorrow, but someday we'll find it. There's someone out there for all of us, and that's something I'll always believe in, no matter how many times it seems like it's not true. So, spend this Valentine's Day with me, holding on to the hope of finding true love
