It’s February
and all of us ladies know what that means...Valentine’s Day is near. We all
celebrate it differently. Some of us enjoy extravagant gifts and expensive
trips while others love romantic dinners and a great movie. No matter how you
like to celebrate V-Day we all deserve to spend it with the special someone in
our life. Today I will let two of my characters from two separate books share
with you what they would love to do for Valentine’s Day.
~First up is April, from The Makeover –
A New Adult/Romantic Comedy. ~
April
I want to start
off by saying that I am shy and quiet for the most part. I enjoy watching
sci-fi movies and would love to spend Valentine’s Day doing so…if only I can
talk my boss, Dr. Stewart into watching one with me. My perfect V-Day would
consist of Dr. Chad Stewart coming to pick me up from my apartment to take me
on a romantic picnic. We would lie on a red and white blanket and stare up at
the sky and talk about any and everything that comes to mind. He would feed me tiny
finger foods and I will blush because I always do that whenever he’s near me.
After our picnic
we would go to the movies. We would share a bucket of popcorn and whenever we
reached for popcorn at the same time we would turn to stare into each other’s eyes
and sigh. After the movie is over we would take a late night stroll on the
beach while holding hands. He would surprise me by stopping and turning to kiss
me underneath the moon light. After our stroll he would take me home and kiss
me again before I enter my apartment. I will probably stare out my window to
watch him as he drives away. Then I would wake my two roommates up to tell them
about my night. That would be a perfect Valentine’s Date to me.

I would like to
start off by saying that I am not shy or quiet and I know exactly what I want
and how I want it. My perfect Valentine’s Date would not consist of dinner and
a movie…well, unless I’m the dinner and Preston and I are making a movie. J Preston understands my desires and he
feels the same way I do. So when I tell him that I would rather stay in than go
out for Valentine’s Day he will be all for it.
We would start
our night off with some champagne. I may pour a little of mine on him and lick
it off and he’ll probably end up returning the favor. We both love the beach so
after champagne we may take a midnight stroll. However every time we stroll on
the beach after dark we always end up naked. I’m sure Valentine’s Day will be no
different. After a little sex on the beach we will return to Preston’s condo
for a long hot shower, which will probably lead to more love making. Sounds
like a perfect date to me.
~There you have it, two very different
Valentine’s Day wishes but both special in their own way. As for me and my
hubby, our Valentine’s Day plans include a little of both – Movie, champagne,
love making in the shower… sounds like a perfect date to me. J ~
