Amy Plum is one more author which I've found out very recently, and has capivated me in that short period.

Amy's novel, Die For Me, made me want to visit (or live in) Paris even more than I wanted before. 

This novel was something very new to me, the theme of revenants and all that comes with them. But, it was very easy to get into the story once you get all the secrets out. Amy Plum writes magnificantly. Her characters are believable, real, loveable and fun. Especially the boys. ;)

I often found myself suck into the story and the Paris descriptions, and I'd blink and realize that I'm (unfortunately) not there. 

Also, Die For Me is a book that, no matter how many times I read it, it's still so good! And Amy Plum is an author from who I'd read any book she wrote, no matter what about.

Also, little something about Amy. She is such a nice author, cares about her readers and fans, and I already won a couple of swag things from her and they're all so awesome! 

Oh, I forgot to say that Die For Me cover is sooo beautiful and that it really gets the right picture and vibe of the novel. 

What else I want to say? Oh, yes, I cannot wait for Until I Die, sequel of Die For Me. Three reasons. 1: Amy just mesmerized me with DFM and I need to know what happens next.

So, overall, I really recommend that you check out Die For Me, and visit Amy's site and twitter. I didn't regret it, and neither will you! :)

Review:

I like any book that deals with history, mystery and romance so I just had to read Die for Me by Amy Plum.

The cover of the books is beautiful and the title couldn’t be more fitting.

The story revolves around Kate who moves to Paris after her parent’s die. There she meets Vincent and Paris becomes the perfect setting for a history filled, paranormal fantasy.

I think I liked all the characters in this book. They are all fantastic in their own way. Kate is a good man character. She is easy to relate to, she’s smart and she’s not overly impulsive. She likes to think about the consequences of her actions before making a definite decision.

Vicente was great as well. He’s mysterious, sexy, has that amazing French accent and is super sweet and caring. What else could you ask from the male leading character?

All the secondary characters are very interesting as well. From Kate’s family to Vincent’s friends, no character is dispensable.

Now Kate’s relationship with Vincent is swoon worthy. Vincent is careful with her and their relationship develops nicely. There are lots of playful banter between them and sweet and tender moments.

Amy Plum has created a very interesting new world any Paranormal and Fantasy fan will definitely like. There are no vampires or werewolves in this story. There are revenants and learning about them was very enjoyable.

This is a great first book in a series. The plot is exciting and the characters are very well-developed. This is a solid and interesting read able to capture your attention.
