Review: 

I’m probably a little late for the ‘I’m reading Gone Girl party’ but better late than never, right?

I don’t even know what to say about the two main characters: Amy and Nick. At one time they seem to be one thing and then, as the story develops, they turn out to be completely different people.  This is obviously the author’s goal and it works perfectly.

This story is all about two people who don’t and, at the same time, do know each other perfectly well. The things they do, the people they deceive is amazing.  Amy, especially, is probably one of the most complex characters out there.

The way the book is written purposely makes the reader think one thing when the truth is completely different. And once everything is revealed you are left thinking about how some people really do go through life pretending to be someone else and are capable of anything to get what they want.

This book is full of surprises and schemes and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The book is written in a very smart way and I was hooked from the beginning. I don’t want to give anything away to the people who haven’t read the book yet so I’ll just say this book is incredibly well-thought out and definitely left an impression on me.

This is definitely a must read.

I have received this book as part of a book tour in exchange of an honest review.

As some of you might now, I’m a big fan of mystery so I was definitely interested in this book. Gladly, it did not disappoint me.

The mystery around which the story revolves kept me guessing almost until the end and I love when that happens.

There’s much more to this book than just the mystery, though. The characters are interesting and so are their backstories. The main characters, especially has a lot going on in her life and her past.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book. It is well-written and the story kept me curious and interested.

If you enjoy a good mystery, I think you will enjoy this book.

I’m a big fan of mystery so I was excited to read this book and, gladly, it did not disappoint me.

When Nathan finds a girl on a beach covered in blood his life changes completely. He’s suddenly a suspect and to prove his innocence he will have to find out who is indeed guilty.

Caitlin has gone through a lot and her story is a strong one.

The relationship between Caitlin and Nathan especially intrigued me.  Nathan doesn’t give much away and I found myself wanting him to tell me more. He alone kept me interested during the whole book.

What I really liked about this book is the fact that not everything is what it seems to be. The twists and turns are great and kept me wondering and changing my mind about who the guilty party was. In my opinion, that’s one of the ingredients for a great mystery.

All in all, I really enjoyed Nightmares of Caitlin Lockyer. The book is well-written, with interesting characters and a great plot that keeps the reader wondering.

If you enjoy a good mystery, you should give this book a try!
