for once, she'd like to take a risk on Mr. Wrong. And who could be more wrong
than Ty Garrison? The mysterious new guy in town has made it clear that he's
only passing through, which suits Mallory just fine. Besides, his lean, hard body
and sexy smile will give her plenty to remember once he's gone...
For the first time in his

and Ty wonder if they could really be this lucky in love. After all...anything
can happen in a town called Lucky Harbor
Review:
Jill
Shalvis is one of my favorite contemporary romance authors and every time I
pick up one of her books I know I won’t be disappointed and that I’ll be sucked
into a fun, sweet, steamy and interesting story.
Lucky
in Love, the fourth book in the Lucky Harbor series didn’t disappoint me
either. Just like the 3 previous books in this series, Lucky in Love was fun,
steamy and an all-around great read.
In
this book we get to find out exactly who Mysterious Cute Guy is. His name is Ty
Garrison and he’s an ex-Navy Seal spending some time in Lucky Harbor while he
recovers from an injury. Ty does his best to avoid any and every type of
relationship that can lead to attachments since his job requires a lot from him
and is quite dangerous. Lucky Harbor and its inhabitants might just change Ty
and his perspective on things, though.
Mallory
Quinn is the town’s good girl and an ER nurse. Tired of always being good,
Mallory decides she wants to take a walk on the wild side and experience going
out with a Mr. Wrong. When she meets Ty during a storm, Mallory knows she might
have found her Mr. Wrong.
Mallory
is a great main character. She’s sweet, smart, compassionate and very
intelligent. As Ty soon discovers, there’s also a small mean streak in her,
which makes her an even more interesting character. Mallory can be vulnerable
sometimes but she can also be quite strong. She has her issues and she sees in
Ty her chance to take a walk on the wild side and live a little.
Ty
is a perfect counterpart to Mallory. He’s an alpha male alright – strong, sexy
and troubled. He has his on issues as well and there’s a vulnerability to him
he doesn’t like to showcase or even acknowledge. Besides his friends Matt and
Josh he doesn’t really spend time with anyone else and does his best to keep
his distance from everyone else. Mallory might just break through his walls. Ty
really is great but I have to say Jax is still my favorite Lucky Harbor hero,
though. :)
I
enjoyed the way the relationship between Ty and Mallory developed. The
chemistry between them is great and the moments they spend together are
definitely steamy. They make a good couple, willing to help each other.
All
in all, Lucky in Love is a fun, fast-paced, steamy and sweet story. Jill
Shalvis’ was able to create another great story that’s well-written and unique.
She was able to make me like and root for these new characters when I already
loved the characters from the previous books so much.
If
you enjoy a good contemporary romance book with great characters and a fun,
steamy and interesting story, go and pick up this book. You won’t be
disappointed.

I really need to read these. I love that they are fast paced, sweet and steamy. I only read a few contemporary romances and most are series..that I have been reading for ever..like Virgin River. I do like western contemporaries-there is something about a man in jeans and a stetson..LOL I might give these a go! Awesome review my dear :)
