Summary:
Richard
McMann hangs by his arms from the rafters of Red Curtain Club- naked. His
ankles are bound together and his throat is cut in what appears to be a
gruesome still-life tribute to Christ’s crucifixion. There is no blood in spite
of the gaping wound to his throat and his entire body is covered by what looks
like a fine white powder. The salt granules scattered on the dance floor
beneath his feet and the fact that his body faces due east, make his murder
different yet similar to the death days earlier in a club a few blocks away.
South Dallas police detective, Olivia Gates and criminal psychologist, Dr. Will Green, engage in a game of wits with a serial killer who haunts the nightclubs of Deep Ellum, leaving behind ritualistic sacrifices of those people he believes deserving of the act. Is he a raging psychopath, killing just to kill, or is there method behind his madness?

Review:
I
have received this book as part of a blog tour in exchange of an honest review.
When
a man is found dead at a club similarities with another crime lead to detective
Olivia Gates investigating the crime alongside her friend and criminal
psychologist Will Green. As a serial killer terrorizes the town, Olivia and
Will have to undercover the mystery of who this killer truly is.
The
main characters are Olivia and Will. Olivia is a detective and Will a criminal
psychologist who can’t seem to escape his own past. The relationship between
them is very interesting and different.
What
I really enjoyed about the book was the mystery. The story is not exactly
action packed but it did keep me wondering and wanting to find out what would
happen next. I liked mysteries that keep me guessing who the assassin is until
the end and this one definitely did it.
All
in all Darkness Knows Me is a fun book with a good mystery. The book is
well-written and interesting.
If
you, like me, are a fan of mystery go ahead and give this book a try.

I know it's time consuming to read and put together a review, so I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your effort. I was wondering- do you cross review to Amazon and Goodreads? It would be great to have your blog's name on a review for my book on Amzon and Goodreads, if you have the time. Thanks again and have a blessed week!
