Cecilia Robert: My Writer’s Cave
My writing cave is more an open, flatland
than a cave. My desk and chair are
placed in a strategic place where I have the overall view of what my kids and their friends are doing. It’s easy to keep
an eye on them while writing.
Welcome to my world.
Because
of my day time job, I don’t write full time, so I grab what little chance I
have to write. And this is where it happens.
This is my corner
I love this chair! It acts a massage seat –sometimes my back
hurts like a lot—as well as a place I can just relax in, with my laptop on my
lap. Or take a nap while trying to figure out a plot line in the story. It’s also situated at a vantage point where I
have the overall view of what is going on around me. Very comfortable and practical.
I am so used to writing with all kind of noises surrounding me. I can’t write
when the house is too quiet. I always have the music playing in the background
or have someone yelling around for me to have a comfortable writing atmosphere. :)
