Stats

Name/Book: Vincent Delacroix rom Revenants Series by Amy Plum

Age: 19

Height: 6'2

Eyes: Blue

Hair: Black

Physical Description/ First Appearance

"He was breathtaking, with longish black hair waving up and back from a broad forehead.  His olive skin made me guess that he either spent a lot of time outside or came from somewhere more southern and sunbaked than Paris.  And the eyes that stared back into my own were as blue as the sea, lined with thick black lashes."

Quotes:

I have to warn you that my bedroom isn't the best place to stage an assault on me. It's where I'm at my weakest, with my bed a mere twenty feet away.” .”

Quotes:

I'm a revenant, not a vampire, chérie."

 Quotes

"But now I have something that blows that feeling out of the water. Every time I need a hit of joy, I think about you. You are my solace, Kate. Just knowing that you are in this world, everything makes sense."

Quotes:

The day I stop seeing you as one of the strongest people I know is the day I wake up human."

Quotes:

Now that you are here--now that we're together-- I can't imagine going back to the life I had before. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you now. I love you too much.

Why He's a Great Book Boyfriend:

Vincent is witty, fun, passionate, sweet and protective. Need I say more? :P

Vincent is great, isn't he?

Jules:

Name/Book: Jules Marchenoir from Revenants Series by Amy Plum

Age: 19

Height: 5'9

Eyes: Chestnut

Hair: Sandy Brown

Physical Description/ First Appearance

"Now that I saw him straight on, I was struck by how attractive he was. There was something rugged about him—unkempt, scruffy hair, bristly razor stubble, and large rough hands that gesticulated passionately toward the painting. By the condition of his clothes, which were smudged with paint, I guessed he might be an artist.

Quotes:

How’s your dance card look?”  “Double-check your century Jules. No dance cards.” Jules shrugged; gave me his most flirtatious smile

Quotes:

How about I take you to my studio? Much less dangerous. Plus, I need a model and you could sit for me."
"You want me to sit for a portrait?" I asked stunned.
"Actually, at the moment I'm concentrating on full-length nudes, in the spirit of Modigliani," Jules said. He was making an effort to keep a straight face. "Just kidding, Kates. You're a lady."
Jules was trying the guilt-trip method of attack. And it was working.
"Ok I'll pose for you," I conceded. "But under no circumstances will any article of clothing leave my body whilst I am in your studio."
"And if you're elsewhere?" he asked, breaking into a sly smile.
I rolled my eyes."

 Quotes

"Sorry I'm not your boyfriend. And I mean that in all sorts of ways."

 Quotes

"As Jules kissed my cheeks he whispered, “She has nothing on you, of course, Kates. It’s just that you’re so very…taken.”

Why He's a Great Book Boyfriend:

He's an artist! He's a good friend, funny and a tease. It's obvious he has feelings for Kate but since Vincent is his best friend he's keeping those feelings to himself

I do love Jules as well. He's a great character!

  2. I haven't read the books yet, but from your description and quotes I think I'd prefer Vincent. But Jules is also very much likeable. I hope I get to read the books soon.
